Lego City Police Station

At 25cms tall and 15cms wide, the LEGO City Police Station (set number 7498) makes an arresting sight! Aimed at children aged between 6 and 12, and containing 783 pieces, the LEGO City Police Station comes with six mini-figures – four bobbies and two robbers, and a police dog.

You’ll also find three vehicles, including a police car, prisoner van and a bike.

The set also has an evidence room, dog kennel, area for mug shots to be taken and top-secret compartments on the jail cell beds, perfect for hiding stolen goodies! As with all LEGO sets, the detail is incredible. This one has everything cops and robbers need, right down to handcuffs, “wanted” poster, crowbar and more. Not to mention a bone for the police dog!

Children will have hours of fun storing recovered stolen goods in the evidence room, and pulling vehicles into the garage area. Whoever plays the robber gets to escape! Do this by tipping up the toilet bowl to move the wall outwards and get to the drainpipe to climb down. Not that anyone is likely to get far with the long arm of the law hot on their heels!

Priced at just over £60, the LEGO City Police Station is made of two main pieces which you join up, one housing the admin building, the other the two cells and garages. And despite the size of this toy, it’s easy to put together and comes with clear instructions.

The LEGO City Police Station is perfect for firing young imaginations. It was already tipped by Tesco as a Christmas 2011 bestselling toy back in June. Get one now – in the nick of time!
